Victorian ring with Birmingham anchor hallmark in 9K rose and yellow gold with seven pearls of approximately 3MM each is a remarkable estate find. The face of the ring is rose gold and the shank is yellow gold with the letter N in a square for 1862, the anchor hallmark for Birmingham, a number 9 followed by 375 for 9K gold and the letter E, which we believe is for Elder & Co., a Birmingham jeweler dating to the period of the ring. In pristine condition, this beautiful ring has a face that measures approximately 7/8 x 1/2 and the ring is a standard Ring Size 6. This stunning ring must have been adored by an elegant Victorian woman of taste. The condition speaks to the fact that it was probably only worn on special occasions.
