Freirich pin in blue and lavender enamel and gold tone metal has a cultured French Victorian look and comes by it honestly.  The Freirich Company was originally founded as Maison David in France and the US and was purchased by Solomon Freirich in 1922.  Freirich made exquisite millinery and clothing ornaments for Dior and Chanel as well as made beautiful, quality, hand-made jewelry in the Victorian style.  In 1960, they began to sign their work, Freirich.  This beautiful pin has a very French Victorian look to it with its deep , cobalt blue enamel, punctuated by the center of pinkish lavender enamel in antiqued gold tone metal.  It measures approximately 1-5/16 x 1" and has a safety closure.  It is in Excellent Condition and signed, "FREIRICH" on an oval signature plaque on the reverse of the pin.  This is a very rare vintage costume jewelry signature and any serious collector would love to have this stunning pin in their collection!  (#43760-FreirichPinEnamelVintage)
