Selro bakelite and confetti disk necklace, bracelet and earrings set features round sections of marbled green, brown and gold bakelite with inserted disks of embedded Mother of Pearl shells and gold glitter in gold tone metal fancy prong settings. The bakelite has been tested and verified as genuine vintage bakelite. The necklace is adjustable from 15-1/2 to 19" and is approximately 1-1/8" wide at the central focus. The bracelet has a wearable length of approximately 7-1/2 x 1-1/8" with a fold over clasp. The matching clip earrings are approximately 1-1/8" in diameter and have sturdy and secure clips that retain their original tension. This set is the ultimate in Miami Beach costume jewelry glamour from the late 1940s to the 1950s. The set has been identified as made by the Selro Corp. by the design, construction and findings as well as several online photos of pieces from the set and authorities on Selro vintage jewelry. This is a very rare Selro set and especially in the marbled green bakelite as we have never seen even a photograph of another. The set is in Very Good/Excellent Condition with the possibility of a few flecks of Mother of Pearl and possibly some of the glitter missing that are hardly of note but mentioned for the sake of full disclosure. Otherwise, the set is pristine and highly collectible. Selro vintage jewelry is somewhat scarce and this design is even more so.
