Handsome Size 12 man's ring with turquoise chip inlay in the style of Navajo artist, Tommy Singer, who invented the chip inlay method. There are raised relief eagles, accented by niello work on each side of the oval center, which is divided into three sections of turquoise inlay. The eagle images are crisp and defined with intricate lines carved into the underlying niello. Lots of attention to detail is further paid with two triangular decorations complete with raised, jagged images inside completing the decoration toward the back of the shank. The ring is a vintage piece in Excellent Condition and weighs 11.4 grams. The ring is marked "STER." for sterling silver, and what looks like a W and C in a tiny, tiny stamp above the sterling mark and there is another stamp which looks like a hypen raised inside of a circle. Sadly, quite a bit of research has not unearthed the identity of the maker of this excellent, vintage Native American ring. Information appreciated if anyone recognizes the mark. (#45825-NAMensRing)
