Trifari jewel tone fruit salad necklace from my personal collection is a highly prized piece that rarely comes up for sale. I have always loved fine vintage Trifari jewelry and have been honored to have this piece in my collection for many years although I have never worn it -- probably because I so admired it. This beauty combines ruby red, emerald green and deep blue sapphire color, acorn-shaped, molded glass pieces with a smaller piece in a different color (of the three) in gold tone links that are accented with tiny clear rhinestones. The necklace mimics the carved precious stone vintage jewelry made by Cartier and now displayed in museum collections of Cartier. The necklace measures approximately 15-3/4 x 5/8" and has a foldover clasp. It is signed, "Trifari" with a crown over the T as shown and dates to the late 1930s. The necklace is in Very Good/Excellent Condition. There are seven large ruby red large fruit salad pieces, four emerald green and four sapphire blue with eight small ruby red, three small emerald green and four sapphire blue. The plating is intact and in wonderful condition. I hardly think much more needs to be said, except, "I'll take it!" :) about this marvelous piece of renowned vintage Trifari fruit salad jewelry.
