Trifari's renowned Birthday series set for June, called "Fleur De Mer," or "flowers of the sea" a glorious combination of lustrous simulated pearl rosette stations separated by draped Florentined gold tone garlands or ribbon is an outstanding, classic Trifari design that is arguably one of the most highly sought after of the series.
Conceived as a birthday set for June, this would also be a perfect set for June brides or any bride for that matter while still classic and tailored enough to dress up a suite, cashmer sweater, silk blouse and you will think of more. The necklace is adjustable from 14 to 16" with a signed fish hook closure and pearl accented extender chain. The matching drop ear clips measure approximately 1-1/4 x 1/2" and have their original tension. The fish hook closure on the necklace is signed, Trifari with a copyright symbol, so the set dates to the mid 1950s-60s. The earrings are signed on each ear clip in the same manner, impressed into the metal with a copyright symbol. There is also the metal Trifari hang tag attached to the necklace.
The condition is Excellent/Near Mint. It appears never to have been worn and is pristinely in its original condition.
