Juliana DeLizza & Elster necklace set in black and clear rhinestones strikes us as a sparkling, sophisticated set for dramatic impact that will set off a black outfit to make an important impression. The necklace features a huge central faceted round rhinestone that measures approximately 7/8" in diameter with five clear dangle drops that end in black rhinestones in a V formation. The necklace is adjustable to 17" with a fish hook closure and the opposite side ends with a larger multi-pronged clear rhinestone appointment. The central focus has three layers of prong-set rhinestones angling stadium style down from the central inset huge black rhinestone. The central focus drops approximately 2-3/4" from the top of the central rhinestone setting and with black faceted rhinestones surrounded by clear rhinestones with black rhinestone appointments and there are two alternating clear and black rhinestone decorations along the rhinestone chain as well. The matching clip earrings are one inch in diameter with two rows of surrounding rhinestones. As with all Juliana/DeLizza & Elster jewelry, there is no signature as only paper tags were used although this is a documented Juliana DeLizza & Elster set. The clear rhinestones of the set have a patina of age with lots of sparkle, but some graying that hearkens to Black Diamond color. We find this actually quite attractive and giving the necklace an estate feel. The metal of the necklace is in Excellent Condition. The earrings display some of the same variation in patina to the rhinestones. The ear clips show some plating wear to the clips, which could be changed or simply covered with adhesive comfort cushions. We will include a pair of brand new earring cushions with the set.
