Pierre Cardin signed Modernist necklace of black plastic resin and bright, almost chrome-colored, silver tone metal dates from the 1970s. Classic and tasteful, this one will steal the spotlight now with its streamlined chic and the geomety this designer is renowned for. The necklace measures approximately 20-1/4" long with an additional central drop of approximately 1-5/8" and has a decorative box clasp that is incorporated into the design of the piece. The central focus combines the Art Deco chrome and bakelite look of Josef Bengel interpreted for another generation. The central focus measures approximately 2-1/4 x 1 with striking three-dimensionality that is almost architectural. It is signed, "PIERRE CARDIN" with a copyright symbol and plaque raised from the mold. It is in Excellent Condition. So now, even then. :) (#45968-PierreCardin)
