Christmas tree pin signed, "Hedy" is pictured on Page 35 of May Morrison's, "Christmas Jewelry." It features red, orange/red, and yellow rhinestone ornaments on a sheer, green metallic, openwork tree in gold tone metal. This wonderful Hedy signed Christmas tree pin measures approximately 2-1/8 x 1-1/8" and has a safety closure. Dating from the 1960s to 70s, this vintage Christmas tree pin is also shown on the reverse cover of Mary's book as well. It is in Very Good/Excellent Condition with slight loss of the sheer metallic green enamel here and there the most of which can be seen on the top left side of the tree for approximately 1/8" and plating loss of approximately 1/8" on the bottom scallop border of the tree, all seen under close examination. These slight imperfections attest to the age of this modernistic vintage Christmas tree pin from the 1960s - 70s. We think this attractive Christmas tree pin by Hedy really reflects the Mod design and color palettes of its time and is lovely and very wearable.
