Vintage Elgin American Beauty Powder Compact has never been used. The original puff is marked, "Elgin American" and has never been used. I took a moment to appreciate the design of this compact. The bright gold tone design of the birds and is lfoliage against a bright, matte silver tone background as it changes with every movement's reflections is fascinating.
It measures approximately 2-3.4 x 2-3/4".
The signature on the compact inside cover is, "American Beauty Made in USA". It was made Ca. 1950s.
The mirror is encased behind a frame. It is in Excellent Condition The cover of the compact has a few superficial scratches and there are some scratches on the bottom. Otherwise, everything else is in Excellent Condition and very near Mint.
