Vintage Wells Pop-Up Perfume Case is sterling silver with a spring that allows the glass perfume bottle to pop up when the handle is moved. The case can be strung on a chain through the handles and worn as a pendant.
It measures approximately 2-1/2 x 1/2" and is in Very Good/Excellent Condition with slight surface signs of use. There are remnants of perfume in the vial.
The initials, H.S.W. are hand engraved on one side of the case. The handle is signed, "WELLS STERLING" and there are the numbers 80727, probably the date August 7, 1927, scratched into the opposite side of the handle.
