Paloma Picasso Perfume Display Jar Factice Trinket Box
Paloma Picasso perfume display factice dummy jar came from the Bonwit Teller Michigan Avenue Chicago store that closed in 2000.
The plastic cover screws into the frosted glass jar to reveal an inner space for trinkets or whatever.
The jar measures approximately 5" wide and 3" tall. The plastic inner compartment is approximately 2" in diameter and 2-1/4" deep.
The frosted glass is very beautiful and we wonder if it is Lalique. It is not marked so and there is a clear plastic label on the bottom that says, "Dummy 7135". There is a small remnant of an adhesive from what was probably a felt table pad, which can be removed if desired. There are some superficial scratches, etc. and some of the metallic ink on the Paloma Picasso signature is missing. Otherwise, it is in Excellent Condition. It weighs one pound, three ounces.
