Vintage DePaul University Gold Filled Medallion Chain
DePaul University Gold Filled Medallion with its original gold filled chain is inscribed, "CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE Mary M. McArdle 1923.
The medallion measures approximately 1-1/2 x 1-1/4". It was produced by Dieges & Cloust, established in New York in 1898. It is marked 10K G.F. and has their eagle logo. The chain is a substantial rope chain that is approximately 28" and has a spring ring closure. It is marked 12K G.F.
In Excellent Condition, this is a gorgeous transitional Victorian/Art Nouveau design. Still beautiful after nearly 100 years.
