Vintage Christmas Tree Pin Brooch is shown signed by Hobe in Mary Morrison's, Christmas Jewelry, on Page 36, Fig. 1.60c. This tree is unsigned and may have been signed with a paper tag that has been lost.

The beautiful, prong-set, elongated green navettes are open backed and laid on top of a gold tone lace filigree. This gives the pin so much depth and dimension! The rhinestones are jewel-toned in ruby, emerald, pink and blue sapphire, amethyst, peridot and golden citrine colors. The tree trunk is in Light Colorado Topaz colored rhinestones. The contrast of the deeply saturated elongated navettes with the rich, textured gold tone is breathtaking and very much a step above in quality and design.

Please note that Morrison's dimensions are that of the inside tree without the filigree. We measure the tree at 2-1/2 x 1-1/4". It has a properly working safety closure.
