Villasana Taxco Mexico Sterling Hinged Clamper Bracelet
Vintage Alfredo Villasana Elongated Sterling Silver Clamper Bracelet features a street scene from an overhead perspective, depicting a man in poncho and hat walking down a peaceful village street with houses and foliage in repousse and niello work. So charming!
Villasana did a number of elongated clamper styles during the 1950s, but we think this one is the most unique and desirable.
The bracelet is approximately 3-3/4" long from top to bottom and has a circumference of approximately 7".
It is in Very Good/Excellent Condition with some of the niello work having faded, but in Excellent Condition otherwise. The hinge works properly and has the appropriate amount of tension.
The bracelet is signed, "VILLASANA" with the Number 3 Eagle mark, and "HECHO EN TAXCO MEXICO in a circle around a stylized and conjoined AV for Alfredo Villasana. It is also marked, "STERLING 925".
Here is a wonderful opportunity to own a genuine Villasana bracelet from the 1950s in a unique design that will continue to enchant you every time you wear it!
