Vintage Christmas Pin Brooch Set by Kenneth Jay Lane is a limited edition, six piece confection from the 1990s. The ultimate gift for any Christmas jewelry collector, this set was done by revered American jewelry designer, Kenneth Jay Lane. The rich gold medallion on the plush deep green velvet Christmas tree shaped box says, "Jewels of Christmas by Kenneth Jay Lane".

The six pins depict time-honored Christmas motifs, a Christmas tree, Reindeer, Santa Star, Wreath, Candy Cane and Candle. The pieces are beautifully crafted and finely finished. They sparkle with high quality crystal Austrian rhinestones, probably Swarovski, and heavy 24 karat gold plating. Each pin is signed, "FM" for Franklin Mint, and has a safety closure. The set and box are in Excellent/Near Mint Condition and the pins have never been worn.

This Christmas Santa is a star motif dangling a clear rhinestone pave ornament and a tiny green and gold tone elf perched on his outstretched arms. Santa is wearing a sheer red enamel outfit with clear rhinestone trim in gold tone metal and has a simulated pearl "pom pom" at the top of his pointed cap. He measures approximately 1-7/8 x 1-3/4".

The Christmas Wreath Pin Brooch measures 1-3/4 x 1-1/2" and features square, round and marquise shaped rhinestones in sapphire blue, red and emerald green rhinestones with gold plated bezel settings. There is a rhinestone pave "ribbon" encircling the wreath and a loopy gold bow accented with clear rhinestone center.

The Christmas Tree Pin Brooch measures 2-1/2 x 1-5/8" and has rhinestone ornaments of sapphire blue, red and emerald green rhinestones in square, round and marquise shapes, bezel set in gold and rhinestone pave garland. There is a clear rhinestone appointed treetop star and a gold plated loopy bow with large red rhinestone center. The gold base of the tree is beautifully and richly textured in a wood pattern.

The leaping Christmas Reindeer Pin Brooch measures approximately 2-1/4 x 1-3/4" and has a jet black crystal rhinestone eye and a red rhinestone nose. He wears a festive green enamel collar. His entire body is richly encrusted with sparkling clear rhinestone pave.

The Christmas Candy Canes Pin Brooch measures approximately 2-1/4 x 1-3/8" and features alternating red, white and green enamel striped candy canes caught with a beautiful clear rhinestone pave loopy bow.

The Christmas Candle Pin Brooch measures approximately 2-1/4 x 1-1/2" and features a rhinestone pave candle and halo surrounding a marquise shaped red rhinestone flame. There are green guilloche enamel holly leaves and red rhinestone holly berries.

The presentation / display box measures approximately 9 x 8 x 1-1/2".

This is a very impressive and high quality set that is easily heirloom / museum quality. Highly collectible and very special!
