Vintage St. John Christmas Sled Pin Brooch is a holiday treasure. The heartwarming scene begins with a little girl with a sparkling light blue rhinestone eye pulling a golden sled from a fine gold tone chain. The rim of her hood, coat and boots are sparkling in clear, crystal rhinestone pave. The sled is being driven by a whimsical creature, accented with a ruby red rhinestone eye. The sleigh is laden with gifts including a large red enamel and rhinestone boot and an ornament with its hook at the top. All in wonderful detail.

The little girl and the sled are two different pins with separate pin stems and safety closures that are connected by a sparkling gold tone chain. The little girl measures 1-1/4 x 1/2" and the sled measures 1-1/2 x one inch. There is approximately 1-1/2" of chain between the two. This type of pin is often referred to as a chatelaine.

The St. John signature is on the reverse of the little girl pin brooch.
