Vintage Christmas Lantern with Bow and Dangling Christmas Bells Pin Brooch by St. John is a signed holiday fantasy of holiday foliage dangling a beautiful, loopy bow accented with red rhinestones dangling a trio of tiny gold bells, each with their own moveable clappers. St. John Christmas jewelry was made for a short time. The pieces were relatively expensive and they are prized for their detailed designs and luscious upscale execution.
This beauty measures approximately 3-1/4 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure.
It is signed, "SJ", in the mold on the reverse top of the lantern of the ornament.
It is in Excellent Condition and appears never to have been worn.
These are so scarce and they are some of the most charmingly detailed of vintage Christmas tree pins brooches, IMHO.
