Vintage Tre Jur Art Deco Compact Embossed Pressed Powder
Vintage Tre-Jur Compact dates to 1924 and it is a collector's delight. It appears to have all the original contents in close to original condition. It is so exciting to open this little beauty. It will transport you back to the 1920s and a young beauty who has received this bright silver tone, engine-turned compact with a very modern Art Deco design on the lid and a charming central focus showing an Art Deco lady in a large hat. Think Tamara de Lempicka. :)
Open the lid and a round paper insert says:
"The Tre-Jur 'Little One' The ingredients of all Tre-Jur compacts is guaranteed absolutely pure. Refills for the 'Little One' cost 35 cents. House of Tre-Jur,
Inc. New York City. Printed in U.S.A."
Most of the powder remains with embossed lady as shown on the cover. There is some powder missing along the upper right edge. The mirror is in Excellent Condition.
The reverse of the compact is in Very Good Condition with superficial scratches, but no plating problems.
Your beautiful vintage Tre-Jur Compact will arrive in our signature gift box with silver stretch tie, ready to love or give.
