Bakelite Pin: Vintage Bakelite Heart Cherries Pin, Bakelite

Bakelite bangle in a rare and unusual transparent applejuice color with slight root beer marbling. This gorgeous vintage bakelite heart and cherry pin has eleven cherries and measures approximately 3-1/2 x 2". It has its original riveted pin stem finding with C-closure. In Very Good/Excellent Condition, the bakelite and pin are in Excellent Condition, but the strings have cracks where the red shows the underlying white string color as is often the case and often expected by collectors. The cherries are very sturdily strung and the pin is very wearable. This is more a cosmetic issue than structural and is less prominent when worn than in our picture as we chose to highlight this factor.
