Item Description:
A very lovely and unusual ceramic bead sautoir in its original state consisting of beautiful chain linked metal-capped ceramic beads in various sizes and shapes, the larger ones decorated in a floral motif with raspberry rosettes and cobalt and gold-colored accents. The necklace measures 28" with a 4-1/2" drop. The smallest undecorated turquoise beads measure 7MM and the smallest decorated beads are 11MM. The elongated tapered tubular beads are 1-1/2" long and the flattened round central bead on the drop is approximately one inch. The teardrop at the end of the drop measures approximately 1-1/4". Although there is some appropriate age to the metal bead caps, this necklace is in Excellent Condition for its age and a beautiful example from this period. (#13131-H578-Sautoir)
