It has the most beautiful rainbow of natural pearlized color. The shell is a whopper, measuring 3-3/4 x 2-1/4" so this is certainly not a piece for the dainty jewelry lover. The shell has the natural tiny open holes along the side and is encased in an expertly crafted sterling silver bezel.The bale is large enough for the widest of chains and thickest of cords.
