Vintage Valentine by Whitney Made features a most charming depiction of a young girl being pulled in an old wooden wheelbarrow with a tiny kitten peeking out of the wheelbarrow in a central round medallion, overlaid with paper lace and applied vintage cutouts. Each corner of the valentine features a brightly-colored gold and orange shaded nasturtium blossom with leaves. The background is a period stylized Art Deco design of hearts in metallic gold. The inside verse amid a scene of a young boy fishing on a pier with a kewpie-faced girl in the water says, "VALENTINE GREETINGS/I think that I will try a line,/I hope to catch a Valentine,/There's only one I want, 'tis true,/ Oh! can't you guess that one is you?" In Excellent Condition, there is minimal curling along the edges and and very slight bends on the bottom tips of the points, minute chips off and a couple of bends to the tips of some of the tiniest edges of the paper lace; otherwise, the condition is pristine. The reverse is signed in ink: "Miss Lucy Sudlow From your old Sweetheart." The reverse is marked, "Whitney Made Worcester Mass Made in USA".
