Sash Pin: Art Nouveau Arts & Crafts Sash Pin GNS & Co.

Art Nouveau sash pin GNS & Co. has an Arts & Crafts influence.  It  is a quality vintage brass sash pin depicting a lion crouching over a generusly-sized agate glass cabochon. There is beautiful scroll work around the edges of the pin with raised wheat style foliage and a leather-like texture to the metal in the center of the pin.  This stunning vintage sash pin measures approximately 2-7/;8 x 1-1/2" and has a C-closure.  The pin is marked, "GNS & CO" stamped into the metal on the reverse of the pin, representing the George Steere Company of Providence, Rhode Island, noted for its beautiful Art Nouveau sash pins and jewelry.  The company closed its doors in 1914.  This sash pin is in Excellent Condition and would make a proud addition to any vintage sash pin or Art Nouveau jewelry collector.  Price includes domestic UPS Ground shipping.  (#28962-VintageSashPin)
