Vintage Native American turquoise and sterling silver pin has a superb piece of turquoise as its central focus. The vibrant turquoise central cabochonhas exceptional natural color and measures approximately 7/8 x 1/2". The pin measures approximately 1-3/8 x 7/8" and has a safety closure. The bezel is beautifully crafted with scalloped edges, a rope twist design and raised beading. This pin came from an estate and it is in Excellent Condition, but the only mark on the piece is "STERLING" and the quality craftsmanship and heft of the piece, which weighs 9.8 grams, are the only clues to its origin although its style and workmanship suggest that it could only be Native American. We put this one aside as we thought it was an unusually special piece of turquoise and a very well executed brooch.
