Vintage silver pin with ethnic design from Guatamala features charming Aztec type figures and nicely crafted niello work and hand chased borders. This attractive pin measures approximately 1-1/2 x 1-1/4" and has a C closure and has some sort of hand-crafted lever that may be a safety closure. It is in Excellent Condition, although in some spots the niello is a bit thinner than others. This is a vintage estate pin that simply needs some polishing to bring it back to its nearly original state. It is marked "Guatamala 900" for 900 parts silver -- just shy of .925.
